In 1970, while working towards a degree at UC Berkeley, Judith hit her first apartment. Needing dishes, yet knowing nothing about ceramics, she rolled out clay and drew scenes from her life. What began as a necessity became an enormously gratifying full time career from 1972-2002, selling nationwide and in Canada. Her plates have an emotional narrative content that people find engaging. They capture a moment in time that invites the viewer to complete the story from their own imagination or life experience.
